Description
The H.W. Carter and Sons factory in Lebanon, New Hampshire operated from 1859 until 1985. Based on oral history interviews with employees, this documentary film captures the history of the factory and the stories of those who made their living there. Today, the factory building has been transformed into the AVA Gallery and Art Center. This film was created in partnership by Historic New England, CATV, and AVA.
