Description
The planet Krypton is doomed and Jor-El sends his infant son to refuge on a distant planet where he develops superhuman powers that he must hide from the mortals around him; Superman battles Lex Luthor and a trio of Kryptonian superpowered villains who escape from their Phantom Zone prison; Superman matches wits with an evil mastermind and a computer genius who discovers the one substance which can harm the Man of Steel; Lex Luthor creates a Nuclear Man to fight Superman in a battle involving the use of nuclear weapons on Earth; Superman returns to Earth after looking for his home planet Krypton for five years and finds Lois Lane married with a family and terrorism running rampant.
